I aints got a MkB42

and I never thought of the MP-44.....although those things are ####te simple to yank apart

Ho-hum. MG34 stripping is BO-RING. Of course, it doesn't help that I have field stripped MG34's probably dozens of times, and detail stripped them several times as well.

Now a ZB, on the other hand, would be COOL to see. The amount of machining on those guns is just AWESOME. The heat shield and receiver are milled out of one huge piece of steel. I'd LOVE to see that gun stripped up close.

An MG34 is "just another one of those..."

Part of my interest in the Bren is that I'm "interested" in the possibility of adapting another firearm into a Bren size/shape platform.

The ZB would be delightful to see torn down, my lack of knowledge about it's manufacturing history is reflected there....mind you, I seem to recall someone mentioning that there's somewhere around 259 seperate milling operations to manufacture a BREN receiver too...
