I know....they just don't have what I'm looking for.....Unique and or 20/28
I would instantly assume any store selling Unique currently must be a scam. I haven't seen it in stock in 3-4 years anywhere
I know....they just don't have what I'm looking for.....Unique and or 20/28
Why are you stuck on "Unique"??????????Yes, but he has almost nothing for shotgun powder...talked with them yesterday.
Hodgdon is a brand that doesn’t actually manufacture a thing.hodgdon is a manufacturer
unique and 20/28 are made by Alliant
thee is always another powder that will do the deed instead of searching for the unicorns
Hodgdon is a brand that doesn’t actually manufacture a thing.
Pyrodex Corporation manufactures Pyrodex. Not even Pyrodex?
Unique gives a perfect stack height when loading shotgun, same with a lot of the powders that Alliant have
HS6, tight group and others are dense powders and you have to be creative in your wad selections to get the proper stack heights
Unfortunately all the bulky flake powders are nowhere to be found unless you somehow comendere a 155mm shell that’s going to the Ukraine
Hodgon owns the company however .Pyrodex Corporation manufactures Pyrodex.
You can own companies and not actually make anything.Hodgon owns the company however .

Yup, some of us have been adjusting the stack height and crimp on shells for years, with cheerios, flax seed, over shot wads, etc!You can always pop a cherrio or two in the shotcup before you add the shot ! Been doin it for a while now thanks to a few friends who know how to manipulate loads. Actually, there's lots of guys doin it ...esp with the availability of only the denser Titewad, TiteGroup, and Perfect Pattern family of powders.
Seems to be the only stuff around now since covid and the Russia/Ukraine war. Perfect stack heights and awesome crimps !!
Don't let the lack of your favorite powder stop you from loading and shooting ! Adapt, overcome, and have fun !
Yes, but in reality, you are responsible for the manufacturing of the product , no?You can own companies and not actually make anything.

Pyrodex is still made by Pyrodex Corp. Pyrodex Corp. was making Pyrodex long before they were purchased by the Hodgdon Group. Hodgdon has never actually produced anything. That's like saying Black Rock produces GM, Tesla, and VW cars.So they own Pyrodex but they don't manufacture Pyrodex! LMAO! You sure do like to split hairs. I guess in your world conglomerates like Johnson & Johnson don't actually produce anything, eh?

No. Pyrodex Corp. has been making Pyrodex since the '70s. It's EXACTLY like above. It's not like saying that at all. You're wrong, just admit it. You didn't think about Pyrodex when you made an absolute statement, and now you're making yourself look like a fool trying to paste together a rebuttal. Anywho, I'm done with the conversation. I know where this road leads...
The Hodgdon Powder Company owns the Pyrodex brand. Hodgdon acquired the Pyrodex Corporation in the late 1970s after an initial partnership with the inventor, Dan Pawlak. The history of Hodgdon's ownership of Pyrodex is as follows:No. Pyrodex Corp. has been making Pyrodex since the '70s. It's EXACTLY like above.
If you buy a machine shop, have you produced anything?"Hodgdon Powder Company offices are located at 6430 Vista Drive in Shawnee, Kansas. The Powder magazine, packaging and manufacturing facilities are maintained about 140 miles southwest of the main office, in Herington, Kansas. Additional magazine space, located on a closed military base, is also leased from the City of Topeka, Kansas."
manufacturing facilities and product storage space, all under the Hodgdon name........sounds like a producer to me too
Can't get into shareholders info without paying so I'll leave it at that
