Hodgdon Powder Canada

Not sure if I believe what I'm seeing, but, some stores in the US seem to be getting some Alliant powders again, may be backorder fills finally, really doubt they'd be new orders, as they'd said they would not accept them, early last year, or late 23 timefame, too busy with military orders.

I got an alert from the Nosler forum yesterday that Midway has stock of RL-26. No idea if it's true or just some old stock that they found but they are rumored to be getting it back in stock down south with a few different types of Alliant powders. Cheers

This whole time I thought you guys were saying that Hodgon manufactures PYREX glassware. It seemed to random and unrelated to powder. Had me very confused.

Now I get it.

I'll revise my statement. Hodgdon doesn't manufacture anything that I am interested in. For my interests, they are a distributor.
You were confused🤪 because they are SPELLED the same 🤷‍♂️ lol 🤣😂

The RSO at my range said he phoned Alliant and they are no longer supplying the civilian market for the foreseeable future, I haven't confirmed but then again I haven't seen Alliant powder for a long time.

That has been the prevailing internet rumor for about a year now. Your RSO could have just Googled it, lol.

FYI, Lawry’s has the following Alliant powders in stock , Reloader 15.5 and 50, Power Pro 300 pm, Power Pistol, BE86. And really what does it matter who owns or makes the powders as long as you can get it.

The US has seen some new manufactured shotshell powder from Alliant just recently. Green Dot and Promo.

You missed the point, but don't worry about it.
Was your point that Ford does more than put a label on a container completely made and filled by someone else? Because if not, your point is invalid.
A better analogy would have been, “does Tata make Range Rover?”. The answer is still no.

Ford is a bad analogy if we're comparing quality of product. Unions screwed that up years ago.

Hodgdon owns, manages, and operates pyrodex. In the same way that Ford executives don't work on the factory floor or belong to the union.

So does Ford build trucks or not?
