I saw an article in Western Sportsman on hog hunting- seems they can be found in Alberta and Saskatchewan. There were some in BC,around Chiliwack years ago, but they obviously didn't establish a breeding nucleus.I saw them in NewZealand-and it's quite obvious where they are from the damage they do to pasture.Mainly they are nocturnal though.Somehow I don't think the KIWI prefered method of hunting them would catch on though-running with dogs then sticking them-it would pale the Canadian seal hunt into insignificance-PETA would be having fits and we'd have Pamela Anderson and the animal rights protestors blocking traffic and doing cartwheels in the streets
