Hi all,
Just a quick note to say that reloading during the holidays is best during this time of year. I get to escape to the garage with my dog and get away from my wife's family. Nice and peaceful. Easier than saying I'm going to watch tv in the basement. Nice and cool there rather than the 80 degree heat in the rest of my house where my inlaws crank the heat. Tonight it's 243, tomorrow 300 win mag, then 338 for Boxing Day. Only bad thing is I don't drink while charging loads so I only resize and prime in the evenings.

Merry Christmas and happy handloading to all my Gunnut friends!

I completely agree with you. I have a dog, crazy mother in law and just love to sneak away and load some ammo. 45acp, 223, 300 wsm, 375h&h and ruger are on my to do when they come 29, 30 and 31. Merry Christmas to you too! Great avatar puppy pic as well.

wifes out working all night so I think i'll treat myself to loading some HOT & FUN 357 magnum , 2400powder is just what Santa ordered.

Merry Christmans fellow GunNutters

Im gonna take my 223 reloads for a walk tomorrow with ther favovite Tikka rifle. It's -20 but I need some peace and quite before a xmas dinner with extended family:)

I was thinking about doing some more 223 and 308, and cleaning some 9 brass, but somehow I ended up doing some technical designs for the custom rifle I'm going to spend all my money on in the future.

I used to reload enough 223/22-250 for a whole gopher season over the Xmas holidays. Now I'm load developing for my new (to me) 300 win.

An 80's Arnie movie for background noise sets the mood.

Merry Christmas to all you nuts!

I'll definitely be doing a little 12g loading tomorrow, skeet shoot on the 26th :) After that, i have some cast loads to try for .303 and maybe a little .308 :)

7:32 Christmas morning, just saw my girlfriend out the door - she's off to visit family in the east. Its -36 outside and I'm forcasting a lot of time spent at the reloading bench over the next two weeks - and dreaming about hunting season too! Merry Christmas everyone!

Been playing with some home cast 00Buck and and some 12G Slugs. Just cast about 10 lbs of the Buck and 300 of the 1oz slugs a couple of days ago. Plowed the range yesterday. Load up some of each and heading to the range this afternoon to see if they will cycle a semi and just because.

I generally get somewhere from 3,000 to 5,000 rds built for the wife's and I Cowboy Action shooting (.38 Spl, .357 Mag, .44 Mag, .38-55, .45-70-, .32-40) during the 2 weeks that I take off at christmas time. That means we are good to go until July when its time to start reloading again.

My wife is away and we don't do xmas anymore anyway, so I've been finishing up my 9mm. I have a single stage, so I'm now in the powder and seat stage (my favourite). I've got 800 done, going to do the last 400 today, and tomorrow I'll finish up with 200 S&W .38.
It's very quiet here, and perfect for reloading.

I agree, 400+ rounds of .45acp reloaded and tumbled on Christmas Eve!!!
