Holster Certification

Accuracy is never our concern. Actual manipulation & control of the handgun is. .

IMNTBHO accuracty is a measure of control and manipulation.

If a bullet does not strike the target you cannot with certainty know where the heck it went.

I am not looking for MOA groupings from Newbies....

I am looking for holes in paper somewhere.....

If they cannot achieve that then it is far wiser to work with them at an individual level until they can. That way they can learn more about the game and how to succeed at it instead of learning how to shoot at the course.

I think that using that methodology develops better shooters and competitors all around.

How Much Is Competence And Safety WORTH? "Priceless"

IT always amazes me when anyone is CO$TWISE and SAFETY MIA..You will NEVER REGRET PAYING TO BE TAUGHT SAFETY IN FIREARMS HANDLING..Lets suppose for any number of reasons best known to Murphys Law that you have an "accident" in holster carrying at ANY TIME..Not that there are really ANY ACCIDENTS because once the FACTS are in Operator ERROR may be the cause..In terms of liability Better to HAVE a safety course than NOT in that instance...In my own experience you really cant have toooo much training or input as to your own practices with firearms..or motorcycles or driving a horse or riding one or flying or boating..I myself have seen instances and/or experienced ones where training saved my proverbial butt..like last summer when a 4000 lb car hit me from behind when I was sitting STOPPED at a highway intersection..actually the car hit me TWICE..once when I was stopped and the SECOND TIME when I was accelerating AWAY from it..I didnt DROP my bike and was not RUN OVER by the 4000 lb car because in my motorcycle training I learned exactly how to observe and be ready to ACT instantly..in the WORST CIRCUMSTANCES..

pay now or pay later..take the holster BB or IDPA or PPC Course..You cant be too well trained in holster carry..#### DOES HAPPEN...REALLY...

I took the holster course at Colby in Dec with Steve. It was alot of fun and I learned quite a bit as a new shooter. I would recomend it to anyone as good place to pick up some experince before the BB course.
