Under NAFTA there is no duty to be charged for a Made in the USA product. You'll only have to pay GST owing as per the invoiced purchase price and the $5.00 Canada Post handling fee for collecting the GST; assuming, of course, that you make sure it is shipped by USPS and not a courier.
With the dollar at parity essentially, buying in the US has become much more attractive and USPS shipping rates are typically cheaper than shipping the same parcel from Newfoundland to BC.
I'd take another look at the Robertson, however, they make exceptional stocks, but if you want a McMillan, you should do what will make you happy, as it is your build.
