Fluid Film does not work well in my experience.

Settling is normal with the alcohol/lanolin mixture. Just give it a shake before spraying.

I've been using the cooking spray for a while now too. So much cheaper than Hornady one shot.
The only thing I found is that it tends to build up in the die. Also I have to throw them back in the tumbler for about 30 minutes after sizing.

Oh and it's messy on my loading blocks. Cleans up easy in the sink though.

Bahahaha! Well, I gave it the old college try!! I dropped a few TMJ 9mm in there, and sure enough, worked like a charm for shaking it up.

BUT!... I came back tonight to use it and the bullets are firmly cemented to the bottom of the bottle in the hardened lanolin! No shaking free no how!

I think I must have bought the heavy duty lanolin by mistake lol. Back to the drawing board.
 
I seen a video on the net... As we speak I can not find it for the life of me but .... The mix was 10 oz or 99% iOS prop alcohol and 2oz of liquid lanolin.... ... Works great for me .... At hardware store they have the spray bottles with the amounts per volume on the side .... That's what I did and works for me

I tend to be a bit stingy with the thermostat. Knuckles get rapped if I find it above 19. Could be the issue.
 
Nothing wrong there, just shake it up and everything is fine. Been using it for years without any issues and the price is right !

I put my brass into a ziplog bag, then spray the lube inside and roll them around, makes for a very light coat, never had a problem with it gumming anything up (knock wood) Of course that might not work for large volumes of brass, I reload 50-100 at a time.
 
For anyone looking to purchase liquid lanolin and isopropyl alcohol, The only place that I was able to find liquid lanolin was at a health food store. Most did not stock it, but were willing to order it in. Finally, I did find a place that had it on the shelf. Amazon also has it if you are willing to pay shipping and wait a week or so. Acklands Grainger has 99% isopropyl alcohol in either a 500 ml or 4 L bottle. Small bottle was about $6.00 and I paid $31.00 for the 4 l jug. Every drug store that I tried only had 70 or 91% on the shelf. No other place that I tried had the 99%.

I tried the cooking spray once. If you leave it too long before cleaning it turns into a thick sticky mess. You have to clean out the die after every use or it will really mess it up bad. I won't use it any more.
