Your merely minded comment is unwarranted. Maybe I'll critique some of you're questions.Nope...I was merely commenting on your silly question, not answering it...

Enjoy the deep woods while you can and I wish you good health. It gives me the entire forest/woods/meadows/cutlines/fields to myself.
How is this for a walking rifle.

Young or old... truck hunting covers way more ground in a day over only walking an area. We were more successful "truck" hunting covering probably 100 miles a day and walking some remote areas, calling.Road hunting is the only way some old guys in poor health can hunt and I have no problem with that whatsoever.
Natalie, is that you?........Tikka in vaniller 270 just showed up im the EE.
The Sako in 308win is remarkably still there.

This doesn't apply to Forest Service Roads (FSR), or unmarked bush gravel roads. So illegal to shoot from the road. Here in BC 15 meters from the center line.
Not knowing where and what you hunt this will be generalized.Hey everyone. I was just wondering what everyone's opinion on a brand of rifle. Pro's and Con's. I have a budget of 2500 and I do want a wood stock. Been told a Winchester Model 70 is my best option.
Also I do want a walking hunting rifle if that makes sense.
Thanks everyone
