Had that been a 20” barrel, I would’ve snagged that to offset the 20” M77 in .270Win I got awhile back..

Road hunting is the only way some old guys in poor health can hunt and I have no problem with that whatsoever.

Young or old... truck hunting covers way more ground in a day over only walking an area. We were more successful "truck" hunting covering probably 100 miles a day and walking some remote areas, calling.

Very nice wood 30-06. Lightweight, threaded and has a brake if wanted. 22" barrel. Never had a xbolt not be a shooter. Very nice out of the box recoil pads on them as well.

So illegal to shoot from the road. Here in BC 15 meters from the center line.

This doesn't apply to Forest Service Roads (FSR), or unmarked bush gravel roads.

No centerline markers on FSR roads!.....
