Does anyone have a Hornady load manual that has data for loading 115gr. HAP bullets for 9mm? When i use data from manuals I have the COL is too long to cycle in a CZ75. The depth I have to seat the bullets has me concerned about pressure problems.

"...concerned about pressure problems..." Don't be. The OAL doesn't affect pressure.
Hodgdon gives 1.100" for a 115 cast RN and 1.125" for a jacketed bullet. Load your's to fit the magazine. 'Off the lands' doesn't apply to handgun cartridges.
sunray, this "IS" the "DUMBEST" thing you have ever said in this forum.
No it's not and that is a problem as he is going to be responsible for injuring or killing someone some day.
I don't know why he is allowed to post his crap on this forum as I am sure when he is sued for what must be deliberate misdirection the forum owner will also be named in the claims for damages.
sunray, this "IS" the "DUMBEST" thing you have ever said in this forum. The deeper a bullet is seated into the case the less internal volume the case has and the chamber pressure will be higher. "WHY" do you think the manuals tell you to decrease your powder charge by 1 or 2 grains when using military 7.62 cartridge cases that have "LESS" internal volume.
Do you spend any time reloading and reading the manuals or do you spend all your time sitting at the computer shooting the $hit? Do you have any idea how many gullible young and inexperienced reloaders might believe you and jack up chamber pressures?
Below are the pressures of two .223/5.56 cases with the same seating depth and powder charge, "BUT" these cases have two grains of H2O internal case capacity. Case capacity and seating depth "DOES" matter and sunray you need to read "MORE" and post "LESS"!
The link below is a very good read for anyone who reloads for a pistol.
How to determine Max OAL for a CZ Pistol

Even if the OAL data is from a auto loading pistol when you read the link you will see the chambers and throats vary by manufacture. You will also find that OAL is adjusted and "tuned" to get better accuracy.![]()

Quote from link.
"• Secondly, when bullet makers tell us, use XYZ length as an OAL what they are saying is, "This is what we used and the results we got." They are NOT saying this is the "perfect OAL", or that their OAL will work in every gun, or that they think this is some kind of "perfect", never-fail, always-feed-correctly dimension. Far from it. If you'll read your manual you'll discover that this ammo testing takes place in "test barrels". This is, a huge block of steel, bolted to a table top, with all sorts of meters and gauges hanging off of it. It is a "gun", but it is NOT a pistol, and it is MOST DEFINITELY not auto loading. It's a single shot hunk of steel."
