I had a dramatic failure with an Interlock out of my 270.
I shot a 4x4 Whitetail at 80 yards, broadside.
The bullet was the 140 grain Hornady Boattail. [3025 fps MV]
the bullet hit a rib on entry and completely disintegrated. No piece hit the lungs.
Made a rather ugly surface wound, and sprayed little bits of jacket and core around.
Deer ran about 20 yards, sort of bewildered, and stopped long enough for me to hit him again.
Second shot did the job properly.
Should have known better.....I like Partitions, Accubonds, and now, TSX, TTSX as well.
