corney, did your press come with any of the L&L die bushings? I believe conventional (threaded) dies won't work without them correct?

Comes with five bushings. No you can't use standard dies without the bushings. I'm not sure I'm happy about that as I load 4 different calibers and to really utilize this quick change you should have one for every die. I guess you could just use the five it comes with but kinda defeats the purpose.

I don't know how well these work as I'm having a hey of a time getting parts I need to make it work

I know its going to be great when it happens, until then me and my Lee 1000 will keep plugging away.

to really utilize this quick change you should have one for every die.

Get more bushings: they come in packs of three and ten. Cheaper than shellplates from other presses, more consistent and faster to change out.

Thanx for the info Corney and don't be too hard on yourself. I think most Canadian shooters have experienced the procurement blues at one time or another and besides, compared to some of the rants that get posted (including my own), your posts seem down right stoic.
