Hornady One Shot

Lube makes things go easier if you are doing higher volume. I don’t think it would degrade powder but I haven’t done any scientific tests either
I've used a spritz of Lyman case lube when reloading 9mm parabellum. It made resizing a lot easier, even with carbide dies.
A quick spritz in a plastic pail onto the casings, shake the bucket around and have at'er!

I've never noticed any issues with powder degradation, even after the rounds have been sitting for a few years.

Fwiw, I tried the popular online recipe for mixing 99% isopropyl alcohol to lanolin (10:1) in a spray bottle and it works amazing on 7rm, 7mm08, and .243 cases. I experimented in both a plastic 1 litr freezer bag and a plastic container with lid. Both are perfectly fine, but I prefer the plastic container for shaking cases around gently. I use a small bore mop and lube for a light touch inside the neck prior to bullet seating

So I'm going down the rabbit hole a bit here... I've been trying to find the type that the OP posted and it has become close to unobtanium out my way... so... I started researching the product that may or may not be manufactured in California from what info is available. There are at least two products by WD40 that have the same product number apparently, but one has PTFE.. That's what we want. However there have been changes to the formula of the PTFE type since 2014. So this seems very similar to the demise of the Hornady product that worked flawlessly in it's original form, then changed briefly and doesn't perform the same anymore, then became unobtanium north of 49 approximately 5 years ago. It seems they are phasing out the old stock dry lube PTFE type. In my research I have learned that the WD40 Specialist Dry Lube with PTFE in all forms contains 5 to 10 percent mineral oil depending on date of manufacture, so if introduced inside the case it could contaminate primers and powder. Just an FYI. The newer manufacture date is the higher content of mineral oil. I will be testing a can of old stock if I can get it. (finding out on Monday) And I will give you an update sometime this week. I have experienced the two different formulas of One Shot cans and still have a very tiny amount of the old type left, so I should be able to be a little subjective on the differences between them. Regardless... if this product is working for you and the can indicates it has PTFE in it.. Buy your lifetime supply now. Cheers

Update: My search for the described product has been fruitless... If any one has information on where it can still be purchased I would be very grateful. Also if someone could maybe sell me a can or two of one shot or wd with PTFE I would be very happy.. Cheers
