I've used a spritz of Lyman case lube when reloading 9mm parabellum. It made resizing a lot easier, even with carbide dies.
A quick spritz in a plastic pail onto the casings, shake the bucket around and have at'er!
I've never noticed any issues with powder degradation, even after the rounds have been sitting for a few years.
