How are you cleaning up after using Triple Seven pellets?

I'm new to ML shooting.

I've read 777 cleans up with water. I'm not using sabots (Hornady FPB). I was cleaning up during the sight in (after each shot) with a commercial cleaner (name escapes me) suppose to clean out plastic and copper fouling.

Will a wet swab work instead, as long as the barrel dries out before another shot?

At days end, hot water down the barrel, let dry, then a coat of oil?

I used hot water and dish soap to shake up clean the screw out plug. Worked like a charm.

I take the breech plug out, stick a funnel in, pour in hot tap water, run a clean patch through to dry, oil, then bore butter.

Bore looks like a mirror, I never would have thought it'd work as well as it does.

The best part is you can take a thermos of hot water to the range to clean in out after a few shots!

Thank you for the tip. As it turns out I have a jar of bore butter patches, nice smell too.

warm water dish soap and patch out until clean. Finally run a patch down the bore with some WD40. Always patch out with a dry patch just before loading and shooting. WD40 puts a slight moisture barrier on the surface of your bore. If U have a patient breach do not forget to clean it out as well. Everyone has there own way of cleaning and the materials used. Just so long as U get your bore clean of powder fouling and protect against rust yur good to go.
