Do you guys believe in having a diverse number of handguns or try to keep them all similar?

Diverse would be covering different type of guns: 1911, revolver, steel plastic, aluminum etc. And having a number of different calibers.

or Same type and staying with one type mostly like all 1911's, DA/SA, revolvers, or plastics. And sticking with a couple/few calibers.

I do not want to bash anyone who collects any guns.
My take on guns is different. I rather have few but use them a lot.
My bullet count for my two centerfire pistols this year is 13,000 and counting. No idea how many rounds I fired from .22lr.
When people ask me what to buy for first gun in centerfire, I say buy something cheap and lots of ammo. Then over the time make a call which way you want to go. Collecting is fine, shooting way better.
