Has anyone actually written their cfo and got clarification on this?? I'm from the better safe than sorry school of thought, and just get temp att's to cover my tail.
From talk in another thread on this subject, it seems it isn't law, just something the cfo's make up on the fly. If it is not law, how can they enforce it??
Would one of our letter guru's be willing to ask?? Something to the tune of.
Is it law?? If so, where does it state this.
If it isn't, how can you enforce it??
Are you in effect, making a firearms owner commit a paper crime by transporting without a trigger lock?
What are the consequences of not getting a statt?(someone mentioned a violation of some sort on their file).
My letter writing skills suck to say the least, but it would be very interesting to get a response, and let others know. Thoughts??
