How do you dispose of rimfire ammo

Folk's, I bought a box of 325 rimfire ammo that are nothing short of horrible.
Mis-fires like mad and a lot of them which had the power of a fire cracker.
I have never seen anything like this before but there is no way I will use the rest of the box.
How do you dispose of them?

You can call the manufacturer for waranty replacement. To dispose just bring it to your ranges dud box. I also hear that the RCMP enjoy destroying ammo.

Honestly I would not give these to anyone, garbage at best. When you have to wait every 4th shot for 30 seconds because of a mis-fire its just not fun.

Leave them on the shooting bench at your range,someone will pick them up.

I had a box of Winchester Xpert like that. Horrible stuff

I pull the bullets with pliers and dump out the powder in beer cap. Torch the powder. Then I flip the shell so it's primer up and it gets the torch too. A few seconds and you'll have liftoff. About 30ft I recon. You'll want hearing protection.

I'd be willing to bet that they would work in a bolt, pump or lever action. What are you running them in , a semi something?

Ran them through 2 newer Henry Lever Action rifles. All other brands of ammo used with no issues at all.

I have a Marlin 795 that fires every .22lr cartridge that gets left in the dud box at my range (I don't try that with any other size of cartridge)

I have a Gevarm that's great for that. If a Gevarm won't fire it, it really is a dud.

A friend of mine filled a beer can with crap 22 shells and tossed it in a bonfire once. I never said it was a good idea, but we had a little excitement out of it.

Call the RCMP to come pick up some ammo you wish to have destroyed, great idea
