i have a big ice hut (clam yukon tc) and a grizzly 700. both wouldnt fit in a pickup so i didn't have a choice about getting a trailer. so i have an MTI 6x10 enclosed with leaf springs. would like to rig up some ramps that are hinged and flip down. anyone been down that road?
i used rubber membrane on the floor to make it way easier to clean and it also protects the wood from pressure washing every weekend. plus it just looks better.
heavy duty D rings with steel reinforcement under each one and a 7,500lb winch holds her in place with the help of 4 chocks. i leave it in neutral while in transportation as its not good on them to be jerked around while in park. even after a hard swerve to avoid a sleeping/high idiot on the 403 the atv didnt move half an inch.
6ft wide isnt enough room with the over fenders on the atv as they add 3" on each side. 8ft for me next time.
excuse the mess...during the summer i was using it as tool storage while siding.
