How do you pronounce CZ?

A few years ago I was in England and took the Yeoman Warder's (Beefeater's) Tour at the Tower of London. Our Beefeater guide assembled the group of about 60 tourists and began by asking, by show of hands, where everybody was from. “How many New Zealanders do we have?”, “How many Americans do we have?”, “How many Canadians do we have?” When I raised my hand as a Canadian, he pointed at me and said “You there, the Canadian…tell me, what is the last letter in the alphabet?” I shouted out, “Zed!”. He turned to the group and said, “You see…THAT is why we British love the Canadians so - they still speak a PASSABLE version of the English language!”

And regarding the pronunciation of Tikka, I would assume it is pronounced "teeka", not "ticka" because it comes from Europe and in most/many European languages there is no "short i" sound. They pronounce an "i" like we say "ee". My wife is European, and after 15 years of speaking english she still can't make the short "i" sound. So, she crosses the ocean in a "sheep", and puts a "beet" of cream in her coffee and takes a "seep", and leave the waitress a "teep".
