How does a CZ858 compare to an AK47?

Best of luck with you're AK47. Have fun looking at you're plugged barrel and welded shut action, cuz that is the only way you can ever get one. Unless you live in Eastern Europe or Africa.

Ughh... this used to be such a nice place to shoot the ####. Now everyone is a expert on all things they have zero working knowledge about.
I wish I retained all the "facts" I read from google so I could be a expert on 4th-party information too. And people wonder why I'd rather be making spent brass than chatting on the net. Afterall with all the experts, why bother?

My brother has shot my VZ58S plenty of times, but about a month ago he got to shoot an AK in Hawaii, he apparently liked it better. I was very surprised, and I suspect that they were feeding him lighter recoil rounds, because he claimed that he liked it better because it didn't kick as much. Plus, they may have had a break on the AK, where as my VZ is just stock. So... YMMV.
I have never fired CZ but I've served in Russian army and AK will always be my only choice. I took a look at CZ at the gun store - didn't like it at all. Please don't take any offence…some people like spicy food and some don't... I'd rather pay big $ for AK than picking up a free CZ
East bloc brainwashing at its finest...Five minutes spent with a CZ and anyone with some intelligence can tell you the CZ has more pros than cons and far out does the AK.

Anti-semitic? First of all, I'm jewish, but I do not belong to any religious institution and do not like to label myself as any different from any other human. All I hear about these days is anti-semetism this, anti-semitism that. Get over yourselves. Questioning things is natural and should be encouraged not shunned upon. No one thinks for themselves anymore. and by saying that the internet isn't a good source of information is basically shutting us off from any independent thinking and unbiased information, which is not run by massive corporations with an agenda.

Unfortunately the CZ858 I have now is semi... not a fair comparison even gremlins aside.
Next time let's also compare Vulcan and AK-630

No you're right, you read it on the internet, it must all be true. I just can't figure out how with your infinite wisdom and deep-reaching experience with info gathering, I've never seen anyone, let alone a seal, carry a Norc ANYTHING in theatre, ANYWHERE... Nor have I heard of any of my brothers in arms chatting up the great Norcs they just got in.. But I'm sure you are also aware of all the people, companies and countries that make the AK, and OF COURSE the Norinco is A-one on every special ops list.
I never said the net wasn't a good source of info... It just isn't reliable, and that comes from people with no first-hand knowledge posting info as such then tinfoil-hat wearing people like you taking it for gospel. ... The dictionary is a great source of info; useless if you're unable to spell.
As for thinking for myself... I have "seen, done and taught" and am quite able to distinguish fact from reality, and am quite versed in the methods people use to talk themselves up with "false facts" and quasi-intellectual beratement. The fact is that anyone that would attempt a low-brow attack at a strangers "primitive mind" is likely lacking there themselves. Don't assume you know from text, because there are many people that have forgot more than you'll ever learn.

Not one source of information should be trusted ultimately over the other. Sure the internet has it's problems, but that doesn't overshadow the fact that there are good sources out there.
What does a dictionary have to do with sources of true information? Google is now a dictionary word.. What does that tell you?
I completely agree with your last sentence. I believe that as a species, we have degraded ourselves educationally. We are still discovering things that our ancient brothers knew thousands of years ago.
The fact that you are dissing your only source of free speech and information is pretty scary to me. Would you rather not have a choice over where you get your news from?
I just don't get where your argument is going. You are classifying me in some sort of fringe group when I am only trying to find out the truth and that truth can only be found through the internet, and on many occasions, through literature, which again can be found on the internet. You won't get that from CNN.

I wasn't questioning the origins of the CZ I was commenting on the common belief of East Bloc citizens that all things Russian/East Bloc are the best. Seeing how the AK is the "original" pride piece of the Iron curtain it goes to show the support for it over other home grown designs will be greater. That being said, the CZ by design trumps the AK in several aspects. The advantages offered are clear to see for those with intelligence..

How on earth did we ever manage to accomplish anything before the blessed internet came along? It seems to me that 99% of the deeds of man were accomplished with our hands and "voices" before such a thing was ever around. And many of us still do just that.
I take everything I hear in type with a grain of salt, only the words and actions of honest, trustworthy men matter. All else isjust hearsay.
But just incase, I'll make a call and see if any of the boys in Coronado or Little Creek have a ample supply of Norincos there to get the job done. If not I'll let them know that they're behind on the times for ya.
First of all, you are taking it out of context. I am talking about the internet as our source of free speech. Not some magic learning program from the Matrix. Obviously people used their own experience and voice.
All I am saying is, that as soon as the internet is regulated you won't have a true source of free speech. If you protest, you will get arrested. You write a book, they don't publish it. The cycle goes on.
Who is considered trustworthy? Who decides this?
