How is the quality on the Norinco YL-1JZ 'M-37 Tactical'

jwillmoore- I take it you must be the importer of of this Norinco junk, the way you keep praising those POS! Anybody with half a brain would buy a used M37 before having to deal with shoddy junk, parts just not quite fit ect!!! Oh and by the way let me know how you make out trying to resell this low rent stuff!!!

I am not the importer of anything. Actually I am an exporter of Canadian talent and know how. If you are looking to work abroad I can help. I think they are POS's as well. I have not praised them one bit anywhere on this board. However, they are affordable and can be a good first weapon for a cash strapped person. I personally do not own one and will never consider buying one. Too many problems is associated with Norinco made copies. I think they are as good as most of the used rubbish on the market. Very few used items I have seen are worth the effort to buy, but again I may be wrong. So hey chill out

I have a M37[used and almost as old as I'am] ,nice gun.hard to find newer ones at a good price [cheep],some parts,i.e. barrels are hard to find or cost as much as the gun itself.Soo, I was just wondering if the barrel would fit.
But like jwillmoore said
The only thing to worry about is the metric imperial threading
. Like on their metric AR-15 [type 311].

I've never had a feeding issue as of yet, it shoots relatively well. Picture below was at 30m, Federal Power-Shok Rifled Slugs, 2 3/4" 1oz. Target is 8" dia. Shooting offhand, no brace, well aimed not just rapid fired.
