How long do I need to wait for shipping ?

My experience is to order . Hear nothing but one acknowledgement of the order and then receive the goods as ordered 8-10 days later in Ontario.
I never order from them if I am in a desperate hurry.
I've assumed that to make the free shipping profitable they need to wait for a pick up and then use a slow courier.

So, I go to an extrmely busy/popular restaurant and look over the menu...hmm...looks like they have steak on special.
I order the steak and wait for my order.
An hour goes by...well I guess they're busy...and the price is great.
I wait for 3 hours...well pretty busy here...maybe they had to go to their supplier to get my steak...and the price, great.
6 hours later, still waiting for my order...no word from the waiter...well I guess it's busy...price is great...
And sometimes I get my order the same day...friends have gotten theirs in an hour or two...they love it.

I can't imagine most people would have this attitude in a restaurant...but, if I ever opened a restaurant I want you as my customers...lol

You go to the restaurant, you see a line up out front. You decide: 1) I've got time and I like the food so I'll wait. 2) F@ck this. I'm going somewhere else.
I'm not an apologist for Canam. I just don't get what people expect. At one time, they met a 1 day shipping routine. Now they cannot (for the time being) and they say so on their site.

There is a fine line between patience and ignoring/forgetting about your Customers.

But when you place an order for in stock stuff and 35 days go by and no tracking number and no reply to emails and you can't get anyone on the phone........what then.?? When has enough time gone by that you can start to get a little pissy? I Bet the total amount of that poor Basta&ds order that the "sorry we are extra busy" header wasn't there when he placed his order.

Meeting a 1 day shipping routine is great.....it should work like that. A 3-5 day turn around, not bad, but not up where it should be. 35 days.......time to give your heads a shake lads.

Why hire more people and increase your costs when your customers are willing to wait or is satisfied with a simple "we are busy" message on the website. Makes perfect sense from a business standpoint =)

At the end of the day, you guys will order from them. They know that. The firearms business is very little competitors compared to most industries like restaurants ect... and they know that =).

You will I guess and I'm glad enough of you will. Nice to have options. For now, I'll cancel my order and find another place (CGN sponsor even) to get it faster and cheaper. At least that's what I did. :)

My last order took forever. They had some ammo they I couldn't find anywhere else. Unfortunately I found it a week later in stock from another retailer for 20% cheaper, so for me at least shipping wasn't really 'free'.

I have no hard feeling. They are free or charge 20% more then other retailers and they did warn it would take a long time, however, they are unlikely to see my business in the future.

Speaking with your wallet is often the most powerful way to send a message. =)

I tried ordering from them awhile ago, EMT went unaccepted for 3 days, at which time I cancelled it and ordered elsewhere. Just my experience YMMV.

These people are efficient at cashing your money but then nothing. In this day and age, there is on excuse for not communicating with your clients. Either it's in stock, or it's not. If you say it's stock, then shipping it doesn't take weeks.

In the 70's I founded a mail order business that you're all familiar with and without the internet, computers etc, stock items were turned around in the same day. If we didn't have the item we didn't accept orders or money until we had it in stock.

Anyone else have problems like this. You order and then you wait, wait and wait some more.

Careful what you say. I complained once on my very first transaction with them and the response I got was a negative trader rating right off the bat.

I really think posting here is the worst thing you can do and should be last resort. Give Paul a call he is a great guy to deal with.

I've had good experiences with them so far, no problems, but if someone legitimately posts a real concern and they get a negative trader rating for it, that's just petty.

Actually I even emailed them to make sure they had all my info proper and still no reply.

A first rate company surrounds itself with first rate people, a second rate company surrounds itself with third rate people.

No excuse for poor service.

We are working hard to improve. It is a software/input speed issue at this point, as stated before.

Thanks for your patience.

first time poster here. i felt compelled to reply to this thread. I placed an order on the 6th they took their payment 2 weeks ago now and still no update on shipping.i was told it would be shipped next day last week but still nothing. sent another email today and i hope they reply soon as i am almost ready to call the credit card company. i've had orders made from other places made later and were still shipped to my door much faster. if you guys are going to take the money it's best you ship out the product. i dont want my money paying for your inventory i want my money to fill my order please.

I feel compelled to post too.

Just curious if you really think pestering them on an online forum rather than just calling is going to get your product shipped any faster?
