How long do I need to wait for shipping ?

Delivery delays??

Ordered something March 30/13. As of today when I check "tracking my order" no indication product has been shipped yet. Is this typical for them? Other vendors on here much quicker at delivery and order processing.

Slow shipping?

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing extreme delays. I received a "payment confirmed" e-mail on may 13th, and as of may 27, still no "order shipped"/tracking number e-mail.
I have sent an e-mail to canada ammo on may 22 as advised by the answering machine there.
And maybe a Canada ammo rep will see my post here and be able to ballpark how many days it takes to go from payment received to order shipped? Two weeks seems long albeit the large number of orders you guys are handling currently.

-thanks

05/04/2013 Processed - Charged and payment completed

I didn't get in on the 1911 + ammo deal but here's where I'm at, an e-mail over to CA hasn't been responded to either. They must be swamped or "shudder" on zombie lockdown?

That's nothing ... I ordered two cases of the 7.62 x 51 on April 29th and got the notice the item shipped last Friday!! I don't usually complain about shipping from a bulk place like Canada Ammo but this time it peeved me as I noticed that in between my order time and the shipping notification the price went down $100 per case!! So now I'm paying $200 more than Joe Blow who might just receive his ammo before me!! I tried calling Canada Ammo but they aren't taking calls - a message indicates that they are behind on order fulfillment. I also sent an email identifying my dissatisfaction ... I've asked that they call me to at least discuss the issue but haven't heard from them yet.

In general, I've been very happy with Canada Ammo but this is a bit painful.

I ordered norinco .223 on may 4th, got the processed email on may 10th and my payment has been taken from the credit card. No additional info has been emailed. I sent an email a few days ago. No response. I know they're swamped but this is kinda nuts. Free shipping though and price matching I guess.

maybe we should start a thread with each update on a spreadsheet table, and try to draw a tendency of CanAm efficiency (or lack or thereof) :)

I made a small order on the 4th or 5th of may. received confirmation automatically on the 6th. They acknowledged payment by credit card on the 12th and haven't heard a word since . 2 emails from me to confirm they will ship and no answers. If I were told from the beginning it would take a month for my order I would have been okay with that. I am a bit concerned now and although I would like to make a couple of more orders, I will wait to make sure I get the first one befor continuing.
Again, it's about expectation. I don't have a problem if I know what's going on.

Mine arrived today:cool:, like the guy says patience is a virtue, the price you pay for free shipping. I'll still buy from them again in the future.

Ya, very slow. Not too impressed. Been waiting since May 8 for 4 mags they have in stock!!! Payment was taken 4 days after order and I got emailed the mags are on their way down to shipping. I emailed a couple days ago inquiring where my mags are, and got their "auto-response" email back 11 hours later saying they're 4 weeks behind. I know it's posted they're experiencing higher than normal orders and there is a delay, but going on 3 weeks now for something that's in stock and they haven't shipped is a little ridiculous. Doubt I'll buy from there again.

Yeah, if they're that far behind they should be hiring more employees in my opinion. It should be, order comes in, process payment, down to shipping.

Ordered a non-restricted shotgun on the 13th of May.
Payment has been charged.
No update as to shipping.

I am very patient and will continue to wait.
I do feel though that even if a company is experiencing delays they should not bill for an item until it is ready to ship out the door.

With that said I think Canada ammo has a great reputation here on CGN and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. They give us the firearms community a lot of great deals that we should all be grateful for.

My 0.02 cents

If you have to return something, your purchase will take about 3 months to complete. 1 month to buy, 1 month to get RMA, 1 month to receive the replacement. I have an order with them from May 10th. I have a credit from a return (see above) that was applied to it. I started emailing them on the 23rd of May and every every couple of days after, and have not received a single reply. I am sad to say that, once this order is complete, I am done with them. No other Canadian online vendor I have dealt with treats their customers this way so consistently. When I order from Frontier or Trade Ex or SFRC or Wolverine I get the product in a week to ten days from when the order is placed, sometimes less than a week. Prices and stocks are up and down, but good service lasts. I am willing to pay for it if necessary. Can Am's reputation and $2 will get you a coffee. As far as I'm concerned, they are currently in the process of building a reputation for poor service and no communication. I hope they improve.

I thought they were, in fact, hiring b/c of the volume of the business.
I'm in the same situation as the posters above. I can wait given the prices and free shipping. Next week will be about one month since ordering.
Fortunately, I went in knowing that there would be a delay, and I don't need the ammo right away.
And I don't mind that my credit card gets charged b/c then I know that the goods I've ordered are mine.

But ya, if you want fast shipping you may have to go elsewhere and pay a bit more...
