How long do I need to wait for shipping ?

I found that out hard way as i cancelled on a friday and was told by one of their employees the check would be mailed the following week, i found later it can take up to a month.

A cheque is a weird way to do things... Why not just send it back on the same card like everyone else?
 
Ordered May 26th received this morning, in Ontario. No firearm. Order shipped on the 10th.

Edit: I should add this is my 5th or 6th order with Canada Ammo. This past few months is the longest I've waited from them in my history, but I am still more than pleased with their service and product. Keep it up Can Am, and keep working towards improvements like I'm aware you are.

You may have had this told to you but it is not a fact .. There are two prime card issuers out there that set the terms and compete for business in the market , do you really think this would stand , and just how many business owners would sign up to accept a deal like that ? No ticket no laundry .. The merchant gets instant credit and it is adjusted upward for previous fees taken on the basis of his fee schedule .. With the volume of business and total of the usual debit I would very much doubt Canada Ammo is being hit with a 3% fee any way , more like 1 or 1.5% . Even with the pressure the industry is under do to so many reward cards out there Canada Ammo must present as a prime and sought after client .. I would had been after them .... When I was a banker

Just think what this deal costs to put in place .. I would have loved to service their lines of credit .. Do not get the chance if you are letting your CC link put them over a barrel ... Enough banking talk and speculating .. Hope the original posters problems go away and he gets to place an order in the future ...



visa merchant term are available as a PDF on google .. Have been for years .. It is no secret society .....
 
The fact that they are charging your credit card weeks before shipping items should be illegal anyways. Hold an authorization until the order is in the mail like reputable companies do.

By the time they get through with the CFO on your order, some people may have maxed their C.C., leaving no room for the gun purchace.
Not like they can complete the paperwork on the deal, with-in a couple of hrs.

Canada Ammo posted on another thread that orders for ammo are taking about three weeks .. Now that is most likely best case .. Was up from a previous post of 2 weeks .. So depending on the swell of orders generated by the many happy 1911 buyers last week and this week .. May be stretching to a longer time ..

I have been waiting for a rifle ( non restricted ) paid for on the 26th .. So I just crossed 3 weeks .. Is that to long to wait for non restricted orders .. Would presume they have alot of $ tied up in this deal and warehouse space, so they have to unfortunately allow the current deal to occupy a lot of the staff time .. Big juggle, trying to run one side of the business with out losing the other ..

Just speculation .. You can see from above posts .. Non 1911 orders are getting out ... Like me just have to wait ..
 
Made non-firearms order May 28 - hasn't been shipped yet. Also still waiting. Three weeks or so is about typical for them.

My journeyman once told me you get three choices - fast, cheap or good. Pick two.
 
well we ordered a roll of paracord, not ammo or firearms, got an e mail today from a Paul B saying hopefully wed they will get it shipped, HOPEFULLY? 19 days just to ship it? lol

If you sent it over the w/e we recieved it monday morning with the hundreds of others, so it will take a few days to get to. You can cancel by logging in to your orders and pressing the cancel button.
 
yes, it will take a few weeks. We are catching up fast and have had the software guys building a new order processing system to speed things up.
 
I am on my sixth week of waiting after making the order. Transfer was approved a week ago yesterday. emailed copy of the transfer from the CFO to canam last week on Tuesday.
