How long do I need to wait for shipping ?

Yeah I have called and emailed and etc. No response. I changed my address due to the middle of moving but I ordered early to get in on the deal (little did I know there was thousands!) but I left a note explaining the situation and was assured it would be fine. So i emailed them with the new address and such. No response, I have done it many times. I have no problem with the wait. I just hope it goes to my house where I currently live. Not my old address. Ah well. Its in the hands of the gun gods now! Hahaha. Order number: 3957857‏ just in case this gets viewed!
I just checked. We replied to you regarding the address change on June 4.
 
Im not going to throw a tantrum, but I think its REALLY annoying that after numerous emails sent over a week regarding an order goes unnoticed is BAD business. Ive bought from canada ammo before without problems, but this is going to probably be the last. Ordered a week ago june 21. Order processed and charged on my CC the 24th. Nothing shipped after 4 days. 5 emails sent in between that time up until today and NOTHING. Im buying ammo, so its not like Im buying a restricted gun where it might take a little extra time to get paper work done with the CFO. I agree with 'big bear' and wasting our time.....me with sending numerous emails when it should have been replied to after the first one I sent. And yes I checked my junk mail and nothing as well. I think Ill be sticking with another source next time I need some ammo.

Shipping time with can am has for the most part in my dealing been two weeks, and if you have ordered from them before and saved that money for good deals and free shipping, you really shouldn't be complaining, cuz u knew what the process is already. Sure we all want faster shipping, and are excited when we buy new guns from can am and can't wait to get our hands on them, like Christmas morning, but Give it a break dude. I have a feeling you will still buy from Can am in the future lol it's so hard to resist their deals!

Thanks can am for making a lot of gun owners happy with everything you offer, and hopefully soon we will have better shipping times with all the new staff and upgrades you guys are doing.

My dealings before was that items were shipped within a day or two once my money was charged (except a two or three delay on a restricted buy one time to get a hold of the CFO) and most importantly my emails were answered quite quickly. Yeah we might be saving a bit of money, but personally I dont care to spend an extra $25-30 for shipping on a big purchase. Id like to continue to order but who knows. Heres my order #3959882. Others are getting replies here so fingers crossed I get one.

Yeah, all that time you wasted, you could have gone to work to cover the cost of buying from someone else.
 
Need communication...

Guys, I have been a small business owner operator. I understand that it gets challenging at times. Here is the deal though, you state on your website that turn around for orders is 2-3 business days.. You have a banner on your site that has been there for as long as I have been going to the site that says there are shipping delays.. I get it. I placed an order on June 25 for instock items. You charged my credit card right away but as of today, 2 weeks later I dont have any tracking number.

I have called 5 times, left 2 voice mails and have heard nothing back.

CanadaAmmo pricing is no different than any other mail order site. Marstars, Trade-ex, etc.. I started to get very concerned that I got scammed out of $250 dollars but it appears you just have a real issue with order fullfillment.

Suggestion: Change the FAQ on your website to indicate more realistic mailorder shipping time lines or at least set the expectations of your customers so they know it can take 3 months to get their product.

I am not here to bash you guys, just very frustrated at the complete lack of communication despite several attempts to contact you. If I knew at the outset the wait was going to be 2 months I couldve adjusted my expectations accordingly.

Congratulations on being so busy I guess.... If that's really the problem. But if you cant ship an instock order in less than 4 weeks it sounds to me like you have some bigger fish to fry.

Maybe he just didnt want to post with his regular account so people would not harrass him. I FINALLY got a tracking # the other day from canada ammo. Only 3 weeks later and its finally shipped. Last time Ill be ordering tho. After numerous non replys to my 6-7 emails can get real frustrating. Oh well you lost a customer canam. Ill go elsewhere for ammo and pay the little bit extra if I have to for shipping. A+++ Customer service canam.
 
No this is my real account. I signed up specifically to post here. I didn't come in with a big rant I came in as a consumer looking to pass some feedback onto a vendor. If you think I need to hide who I am because some company doesn't ship product and I don't take kindly to it you have a lot to learn about the human condition :)

CanAm: If you really want to help a simple message or email communication works just fine.
 
I just recently bought my first items from CanAm as well. I figured it would take a while when it took two weeks to process my order took a month to get it to my door. Took a bit of work on here to get a ETA. I am more then happy with the products the price and do not really care about the wait. I get that they are under staffed. I tried calling left messaged and got no calls back I emailed got no reply till I posted on here. The Op does have valid points.

I think you should just put on the web site that you are backed up can expect about two weeks for processing and a month for shipping. Seems to be what most people where saying there orders where taking. Would save a lot of time and people wondering where there stuff is if its all up front. Would also cut back on a lot of e-mails and phone calls that you do not have time to deal with. People do not mind the wait just would like to know what is going on. I will be ordering again. How ever I now know to expect no less then a month for my in stock items to be processed and shipped. Just my 2 Cents

Are you suggesting that the OP has no business complaining about crappy service. After placing an order for an instock item, having his CC charged and hearing nothing after two weeks and repeated phone calls, he was probably at the end of his rope.After receiving that kind of shi##y service, I would have cancelled the order and taken my money elsewhere.

Based on what people are saying it sounds like 4 weeks is pretty standard. I don't need "special" attention or anything. If that's what it takes I'll wait it out like the rest of the folks. Not trying to jump up and down and get what I want "or else".

Again, a lot of confusion and extra phone calls could be avoided if you just made a mention in your automatic emails that it is currently taking 4+ weeks to ship not 3 days. Fairly disappointing experience as a first time customer.

Thanks for your time. I wish you all the best but give some thought to updating the site with more accurate shipping info. Might help future customers with less concerns.
 
SKS + Czech 7.62x39 how long does it take from pay to shipping and receive

Ordered one combo 2 weeks ago, not shipped yet.

How is everyone's time line? How long does it take from pay to shipping and from shipping to receive?

I knew sometimes it takes long time, for CanAm is so busy. Just want to know if everyone else is fater than me, so that I can know if they forgot my stuff.

I ordered the backpacker and a crate of 7.62x39 in May and it took a month for the backpacker to get here and I have seen no sign of the ammo as of 08/July/13. On a better note the second backpacker I ordered came in x2 weeks but it was not very well taped up and all stickers/labels were quite visible as to idenyify to all that a shotgun [ like the first one I ordered ] was inside.The lady at the local post office was a bit concerned as even she mentioned that it could have been shipped a bit more clandestine.At least cover up the " please steal me I am a shotgun sticker" as I hear there are criminal types lurking about.
