CZ semi auto

handguns
Ruger hunter Mk3
1947 Colt officers Target (absolutely the most beutiful revolver I've ever owned almost mint)
H+R Trapper

I know theres more but they are locked up downstairs so these are all I can remember off the top of my head

I've always had a soft spot for quality older .22's most of mine are in minty shape I tend to be a little fussy with what i buy.

Two

BRNO Model 4 Bolt action with heavy barrel, peep sights for targets.
Glenfield Marlin Model 70 semi-auto with an old Weaver 4x scope for plinking.

(plus a new H&R .17 Sportster single shot with a 6-18x50 scope. Die, gophers, die). :sniper:

My next .22 will be a semi-auto pistol, probably a Beretta Neos or a Ruger. Would love a Beretta 87, but I'm not feeling rich today.

Five or six, a mix of pumps, semis, and bolts. No levers, thinking that one would be cool. They are the only real gun you can take nieces and nephews to the range with. (aged from 10 to 22) and everyone can enjoy a couple hours or the entire day for a few bucks.

sorted by popularity

- 597

- Savage MkII

- Mossberg 152K

- Voere

- Savage 64 (ethernal guinea pig, in pieces now)

There is absolutely no need for having that many, one or maybe two is enough. Buy good piece, expensive, something to enjoy shooting. Say, if I bought 597 and Savage MkII right away - I would have no interest in buying other things that I have now.

Savage bolt and a Ruger 10/22 semi. Used to have a Savage semi but it was jamming a lot after a few months, but we figure is was the crappier ammo we were putting into it (worked fine for bolt action). I've found that the 10/22 works best with American Eagle. It does NOT like Dynapoints at all. Then again, I also haven't cleaned out the hotlips for gunk, either.

But when I first got it, I loaded 4 hotlips and shot all 4 for gophers one day and only missed about 4 times. shot all summer my first year of shooting anything. Last year's gophering sucked due to so much runoff, snopack, and rain - everything was to lush to see anything. Not that that's a bad thing because at least the farmers got water. Hopefully this year will be a little drier, though. Anyone in Central Alberta want some exterminatin', let me know!

Only one in functioning order at the moment.

currently have:
Lakefield MkII
Marrochi SM-64 Takedown
Henry U.S Survival (AR-7)
JGA Bhoys Karabiner (Anshutz boys rifle from the late 20's or early 30's)

and always looking for more.

funny thing the anshutz is the most accurate of them all at any range i've shot.

Unfortunately, I don't think it is possible to own too many .22 rifles. Mine are all keepers:
Ural 6-2 ...3 position and prone match rifle; a solid competition performer
Ural 6-1 ... nice stock built by a friend; I just look at this rifle
Remington 540 XR ...my old sporting rifle; top perfromer
Walther KJS ...my present sporting rifle; more adjustable and comfortable
SM-2 #1...modified old rifle but shooting very well
SM-2 #2...early version modified; shoots very well also
Wichester Wildcat (TOZ 78-10) nicely finished and accurate & inexpensive
Marlin 2000 ...a comfortable rifle to shoot; accurate too.

I hope to add a BSA Mk.4 or ISU rifle one day.
These are my present .22 rimfires. I like the Marlin 2000 and the Winchester because I can take a new shooter to the range, and I have rifles that are manageable. Match rifles are normally front-end heavy, and they are a real chore for a novice to shoot without a jacket, sling etc.

Question 1: Not enough.
Question 2: We need a reason?:D
