how many .22's do you own? And why? (hunting/Collecting etc..)

old gooey repeater- bolt action-
2 10/22s- one folder, one completely stock and haven't figured what to do with yet
1 nylon 66
1 norinco m93
1 beretta 948

My #1 match winner Savage MkII bull barrel
#2 almost as accurate is Rm 597 "Yallow Jacket"
#3 decently accurate Mossberg 152K, guinea pig in the past and now resting in peace.
#4 ungly betty guinea pig in the middle of plastic surgery Savage 64.

597 is for hunting, Savage MkII is for target shooting and bragging, Mossberg is for hunting, Savage 64B is concept testing platform.

CZ 452 American
Brno #4
Smith & Wesson Model 617
4 Smith & Wesson Model 17's
High Standard Supermatic Citation
Beretta 89
Kimber Rimfire target
Marvel 22LR Conversion
Advantage Arms 22LR Conversion

3 as of this writing .... One of which has been out of comission for a long time now because of a broken sear. Such a shame, my toz-99 was/is a fun little thing. I just love the fact that I can shoot them all day and not break the piggy bank.

I have a couple and am always on the lookout for more
-An old Browning t-bolt
-a modded 10/22 (heavy barrel, hogue stock, a bunch of other little crap)
-an unmodded 10/22 (new one with all the plastic bits)
-a marlin 795
-a marlin 39a
-an old gevarm takedown model (no mags for it though)
-an old single shot (not sure which make)

The old Browning is by far my favorite, it will outshoot any of the others hands down. Hoping to add a few more to the collection in the future.

I have 8 in total. Generally just for plinking, but I do shoot quite a few gophers with the rifles.

My Ruger 10/22
A Squires Bingham M16 (kind of, it has a M1000 barreled action on the cheesy wooden "M16" stock)
A Savage/Anschutz model 141M in .22 WMR
My old Cooey, Ranger 75.

And 4 Rimfire Pistols.
Smith & Wesson 622.
Sig Mosquito.
Ruger three screw Single Six in .22 WMR (not a convertible)
And finally a Steven's Little Scout single shot.

an old browning t bolt that can almost match the C Z's for accuracy; but it has a french walnut stock ,( far nicer than the C Z turkish walnut stocks )

I posted March 22 originally but the list has changed significantly. Got rid of the No 1 and the Cooey 39 and have much more.
CZ452 leftie for tack driving\
Cz527 223 for tack driving a long way out
Winchester 1906 takedown pump for absolute balls out fun
BRNO CZ468 trainer single shot for the old lady(got rid of the Cooey)

Still breaking in the first 2 CZ but the single shot was made in 1958. The Winnie is a real sweetie, 1932 and shoots like a house on fire. Gets a lot of attention at the range especially when they find out how old she is. All of them are range guns and all will be hunted or have already. I use only CCI Minimags or Velocitors now so FTF of Smurfs are a no show.

Target shooting, not really for collecting:

Ruger Heavy barrel
Thompson Centre R55
Henry Survival/AR7

Savage Mark II BV
Savage Mark II BTVS
CZ 452 Lux
Schultz & Larsen M70

Ruger Mark II 22/45 and a
'83 Drulov Model 75

(still looking for mint Lakefield 64B, 90B, 91T or TR and 92S .22rf guns)

Target shooting/small game...

Winchester 490, sentimental value, my first .22 rifle.
Ruger 10/22, cause it rarely jammed in volume gopher shooting sessions.
Mauser ES350B single shot bolt action, very very accurate (made in about 1940), fun to push limits of 'distant shooting.' Presently has a 'new' Lyman 32X mounted.
TOZ-8, fun/cheap purchase, and relatively accurate with sliding rear-sight.

Range guns...

Ruger Mk II 5.5 inch bull barrel, first restricted rimfire, uber accurate.

Star Model FR Sport, because nephew & daughters complained of 'weighty' Ruger.
(this Star, is the designated novice shooter piece, due to smaller grip, & lighter weight)

How do you like the Mark II BTVS? I've been trying to find somewhere to buy it from at a reasonable price.

Its simply awesome.....my one complaint is that the cheap aluminum bases will get chewed up by steel Burris rings if you are cycleling through a bunch of scopes. I was testing a few, and the bases got so chewed up I had to replace them.

Epps had the rifle for a good price.
