What????.....no Cooey??? :p :D

Nope, they're few and far between down here. However I do have a couple of WAMOs (aka-Wham-O) which are a LOT more interesting . . .

1WAMOPOWERMASTERRIFLE.jpg

WAMO POWERMASTER RIFLE, .22rf single-shot. "Magazine" holds two full boxes .22rf LR.

Below is a scarce Canadian rifle you won't find very many of.

TOBINLEFTSIDEFULL.jpg

TOBIN ARMS MFG. CO., 22rf single-shot. Circa 1913, made in Woodstock, Ont.. Rod And Gun In Canada magazine called it their "$5.00 Boy Scout Rifle," which they gave to kids who sold 5 annual subscriptions to their publication - which was published in Woodstock, Ont..

Thanks, Wasabi. I too get jealous looking at some the guns these other folks run across. But I'm also thankful for what I have managed to obtain. The most fun is researching these oddball old-timers.

Always on the lookout for something different. However, it's gotta' be made in U.S. or Canada.

Just ribbin' ya Mauser. :D:D:D

VERY nice collection.....

P.S....sent sunshine and heat pleeeeeeeease!!!!!!

For the record, Wham-O, I would like to find a nice, simple Cooey .22rf single-shot to add to the collection. We lived on BC's West Coast for 18 years back in the '70s & '80s and I've had a bunch of them. Unfortunately I didn't realize that decades later I'd be needing one of the little fellers for my collection.

Back in those days I was dedicated to the US 30 M1 carbine and any old front-stuffers I could find.

Just working on the accurizing or the 10/22 as we speak.

Looking at getting a bolt-action repeater in the near future. I want some thing I can throw a scope on but don't want to take the Tech Sights off the Ruger

At least 5 in my house, between my darling wife and I.

There'll be another one soonish, but I guess 8 months is a little young to get my daughter shooting...!
