The initial contract in 1983 was for 79,935 C7 and 1,565 C8. To date in excess of 94,000 C7 have been product for the CF. Netherlands contract was for 58,000 C7 and C8. Denmark 34,000 C7, C8 and LSW.

Someone thought that was a GOOD idea....They have already been used against our troops. The ANA / ANP have a habit of getting there weapons and ford rangers "stolen" by the insurgents over there.

It happened on my tour, 4 went missing while we were looking down range while firing the 25mm's..Likely kids hidden in behind rocks or brush since they picked up all our brass once we've left and sometimes even during a live shoot but for these 4 soldiers not paying attention, they paid the price.

Well, that is the square root of a #### up isn't it? We had a kid take off with a set of MNVG, even though it was "mission kit" none of us could catch the 'lil bugger, and none of us had it in us to shoot an unarmed 7 year old in the back.
Oh well.

They got charge or it got swept under the rug but I know for sure they got sent home!
