How many deer did you see during this seasons hunt?

Hopefully this doesn't sound like bull#### or boasting, but we saw just over 250 hundred mulies and 150 whitetails, plus about 30 pronghorns and 3 cow elk.... all on the bald ass prairie of southern Alberta this season. This was 5 days of hunting.
 
Usually 2-3 dozen per day or more - but for some reason, likely a cougar or two - the deer buggered off out of my usual hunting areas so was only seeing 2-3 per day. I was not a happy hunter.:mad: Had I a cougar tag, that would have made things slightly better...
 
I've seen in excess of 50 bucks and about 150 does/fawns during this season (Mulies and a couple of Whities). Lots of bears (17 Grizz and 50-60 blackies).
 
You won't believe it, but in 5 trips out, each consisting of a couple hours, I saw 5 friggen deer... The 5th deer was the 7 point that I shot...

Friggen N.B. deer population SUCKS!!!

200-300 deer 80-90% does,I saw 39 on a one day hunt.20-30 moose around 50 blackbears.1 lynx.75 or so coyotes.I only seen one buck during the rut this year which was kind of strange.I was getting out a lot more earlier in the season.We have a pretty long season here for deer sept 10th to dec10th.
 
I haven't hunted the "whole season" yet, but so far I've seen a grand total of two. Hell, I saw 3 during the moose hunt, and 25 the other day while Christmas shopping - I guess this just isn't meant to be my year.
 
600 - 1000, or maybe even more, mule deer and about a dozen whitetail.

But then I live in what is probably the most densely populated mule deer winter range in western Canada.
 
This thread is where you really see the difference between eastern and western Canada. Having hunted in both I know, a lot of people from the east can't imagine seeing 150 deer in one day and passing up 5-10 150 class bucks looking for something bigger.

Go west young man... hell, go west even if your old!

I didn't ask how many you shot because my total is zero for that too, and i'm not done hunting either.
 
3 days hunting and I saw nothing. Though on the drive to the camp I almost hit 3, then the drive to the bar (I was DD) I almost hit 2 more on the road into our camp, just nothing with a gun in my hand.
