How many guns is too many?

My son got his rpal in the mail, last night , and I transferred 11 res. and 3 non-res to him this morning . The CFC said nothing , just did the transfer .

That amount in excess of what you can safely store in accordance with the law. Ie - if you can't get anymore than 2 gun in your lockable container and a restricted comes along, you could say it's one too many until you get a bigger lockable container.

How many guns do you have?
Somewhere between too many and not enough!

It's not that I have too many guns, it's that I have too little ammo!

The only time having too many guns is an issue is when you're trying to swim!

How many guns is too many?

I guess that depends on how much money you have and how man guns you think you need. I have only 3 guns and I think that's enough guns for me. One shotgun, one revolver, and one semi automatic handgun. I don't like the idea of creating a stockpile of weapons that criminals might be tempted to steal, if they learned about them. Also, many gun owners overbuy guns and then have to sell them on the EE, because they never use them. Buy wisely. ;)

I got invited to a wedding the other day. Went to my closet to get dressed. All I had in the closet was one old raggedy pair of 10 year old dress pants with the ass tore out a sport coat, and 35 guns. It was right then that it suddenly dawned on me that I desperatly needed a new gun.

Lets see...... You are missing at least one long range "varmint gun", one intermediate range, one short range. Then there is the calibre issues like small bore, large bore intermediate bore etc etc.. That accounts for six just for one type of shooting..

As Jeff Foxworthy says to his wife who questions his reason for buying another gun... "Honey I own a short range weasel gun, I do need that long range weasel gun".

Or as my daughter often opines "Daddy, a bear collector can never have too many bears"

I have a M1 Garand and a SIG P220R ST. I would like to get a 22lr target pistol, desert eagle for fun and a Glock 17. That would do it for handguns. Rifles: AR 15 carbine, Springfield M14 (stock), Ruger 10/22, and some sort of hunting rifle in 30-06 for deer. Shotgun: some sort of over/under for shooting skeet/waterfowl.
i hope to have this list competed in the next five-ten years... if my budgets hold fast.
