Wait a second how is one to carry 10 M14s mags?
Try a claymore mine bag, excellent piece of kit.

or what about having them in a dump pouch?
) but just going through the drills and firing over the distances.
I still don't understand why it is impossible to allow competitors to pause for a couple of minutes in between matches to recharge magazines, rather than having to acquire and manage 10 or more [reliable] mags.
Also,
Some of the people asking this are from outside of Ontario. Have all PRA's switched to the new 1-4 CFSAC matches, or are they still on the traditional 1-12 CFSAC matches? The traditional matches do not require more than 3 mags.

Mine does.. it's not that hard really. Get something with plenty of MOLLE realestate. I've got a zip up BLACKHAWK vest with two sets of double AR mag holders at the bottom on both sides of the vest, and then I have two single mag holders above them on the left side, and pistol mags on the right side. That puts 10 AR mags on the front and 2 pistol mags. If I were to swap out the pistol mags for more single AR mags, that'd bring me to 12, and it wouldn't require having triple stacked mags to lay on either. Not to mention, if I wanted a dump pouch, I'd have room on the sides (probably would go with the left side) for one. Pretty simple organization really.Do you have to carry 10-12 mags on your chest rig?
What chest rig does this?
are the LAR 10 round mags ok to use in CQB?
Yes.....but you can only put 5 rounds in each. Mag changes are part of the match so you can't get any advantage by shooting 10 rounds in one mag.
