No offence intended to Sgt. Maj's. post about the SKS ownership on our forum! My thoughts are just that the Enfield is so much more a piece of our history(?).

I currently have 5:

- 1943 Long Branch No4MkI*
- 1944 Lithgow No1MkIII*
- 1954 Fazakerly No4Mk2
- 1918 SSA No1MkIII* (With Canadian Property Stamps)
- EAL Carbine, Civi Pattern (with aperture sights)

My darling wife has 2:

- 1944 Maltby No4MkI converted to single shot .22LR by AS ARM, Belgium
- 1944 Long Branch No4MkI* (with sported wood)

So, that's 7 in our house... How many in yours?

:)

Neal

Hi Neal.... well at my high point when collecting Enfields, I think I had about 45 or 50 at one time, which included about 7 Long Lees, and 4 LEC (cav. carbines 2 of which were RNWMP and 1 had all matching numbers!) After I found a long lee from the 22 Bn the Oxford Rifles (my county) it got bored with the whole thing, and have sold them all off but for about 5 of them. If I was to check with CFC, I think records will show that I've bought and sold over 200 Enfields over the past 9 years.....

By the way Neal, have you fallen off your horse lately???? :D

Cheers
Dean

Lithgow 1943 No.1 Mk.3*
BSA 1904 No.1 Mk.1*** ( yes, the original model, with volley sights, magazine cut-off and loose bridge that houses the strippers)

Cheers,
Hans

Well... I owned a 1942 Savage that was all beat to hell...

I just purchased a 1950 Longbranch Lee-Enfield.

I'd love to have one of you enfield-nuts take a look at it... I mean, for all I know everything looks right.

Maybe I'll take some pics and put them up?

3, including a nice RIC. Plus a P14 and a No.2 Mk.1.

Looking to add a decent SMLE to the tally this month too!
