Only one for now but just because I am doing the mosin thing. 1943 savage two groove barrel, decent metal & a british stock that looks like it was run over by a tank. I kind of like it that way, dont have to worry about getting any more dents in it.

No offence intended to Sgt. Maj's. post about the SKS ownership on our forum! My thoughts are just that the Enfield is so much more a piece of our history(?).

None taken. As I said in my post I actually dont have an sks. I will probably get one for the price of the ammo to feed it, but it seems that they are talked about quite a bit and they are readily available as is the ammo.

Personally, I am a fan of the Enfield and love the histrocity of them.

Its more of a question of how many might be out there in Canada. Im sure there are more Enfields out there and everyone should have one.:)

I figured this thread might get a few responses!!

:)

Dean - No, no gravity incidents! Our horses were recalled due to lack of airbags or places to mount mobile work stations. Also, the federal government needed the money previously allocated for horse feed and poop scooping to fund the registry.(!!)

Geoff - Show off! I've seen the majority of your incredibly impressive collection, and words don't so it justice! You should post a pic of your gun room!

Sgt Maj - I don't have a dictionary handy... But my new word of the day has to be your "histrocity"!

Ahh..... So nice to be amongst fellow lovers of the truly GREATEST BATTLE RIFLE OF ALL TIME!

Off to bed...

Just bought a '45 stamped No. I Mark III today. My first rifle that is MINE, and I saw it advertised for only $100! I saw the condition and felt bad about taking it for so little, cause it was in excellent condition (although bubba-ized) so I gave the guy $150; he turns around and had 3 boxes of ammo for it anyways... :)

Have two right now and waiting on my third, Plus two tanker revolvers.
No.4 Mk1* Enfield England forget the year
No.5 Mk1 Enfield England year?
Waiting on a Long Branch No.4 Mk1*
Will be getting more like Lithgow, Maltby, etc...............

Only have 3 so far
Here's two, and I've just recieved a Longbranch #4 from Sgt. Striker, which I haven't got a pic of yet

I don't really consider a "sporterized" as an Enfield, but it's all I gots!

1917 BSA barreled action in a newer stock.

I would love to have a couple (or more) of all original No.1 Mk3's, but would be happy with a No.4, or a Jungle Carbine...

I have two No4Mk2s. One of them because it is has evaded Bubba so far and I intend to keep it that way (does have a 'scope fitted on a Cad-Technik mount) and the other because Bubba had already spoiled it so I don't have to feel guilty and am trying to tidy it up to use as my main hunting rifle.

I have had a No.5 but I found I didn't shoot it much because it didn't fit me well and it was unmodified and deserves to stay that way, so rather than have it underemployed in my cabinet I sold it to someone on this site who appreciates it more than I did.
