How many of us have Enfields, and how many?

Stopped counting at 200, about 40 or so British revolvers, PIAT, Vickers, Sten, Lewis, Bren, 2 inch mortar.`
Don't even ask which rifles, it's too damm much work to list them.

I have a 1917 BSA No1 MkIII* that was an Ishapore refurb. It belonged to someone on this board, who sold it to Jean @ PS who sold it to me.

And that is the end of my Enfield collection. Sadly, I started collecting too late - long after you could get an Enfield for $100 from Canadian Tire.

I'd love to own a longbranch, but the prices are just way too high!

:) Did someone say enfields :D

I have several Including
No1 MkIII - various
No1 MkIII* - various
No3 (P14) ERA and RE
No4 Mk1 - various
No4 Mk1* - various
No4 Mk1/3
No4 Mk1/3 Converted .308 DCRA
No5 Mk1
EAL

now I don't have one of everyting :) (like the masters) but I have a modest start to a collection and I'm always looking for more

Just one, a beautiful Long Branch 1945 No. 4 Mk1*. The wood is a flawless, deep red and the metal has virtually all its finish. Lots of great markings on the wood and mysterious serial marks that have been "###X" on the bolt and wrist band. I wish it could talk!

Shoots passably well, sub 2 in. groups at 50 yards, havn't been able to try it at longer ranges yet.

I have 2 both No.1 MkIII

Both were chopped up sporters, one belonged to my great-grandfather, I restored it back to original, full wood and bayonet, new barrel, great fun to shoot.

The other one I cleaned up for hunting moose, works great, synthetic ramline stock, bushnell sharpshooter scope, gets quite a few remarks at the range when they realize the gun is close to 100 years old!

He Neal, do you think he use to post on the old "British Guns" forum???

Well..... did you Mr. Sukey???

Cheers
Dean

PS do you still have that EAL I sold you a few years back??

Not only have that EAL but also the other version. What made you think I sell them?

Of course I was on the British guns forum. A sad day when that closed. but jouster is just as good.

Have stopped buying Enfields, no more room.:D

Oh, by the way, what I have would fit into one corner of Warren Wheatfield's collection and he is NORTH of the border.;)

I think the Pattern Room at Leeds goes to HIM for information!!!
