I have had several stovepipes with magwedge rail after the ejection mode as well. In all honesty I wanted to like this rail, but I couldn't. The problems started the day one with the front pin starting to work itself out of position after 40-50 rounds. No amount of loctite would help (for the pin is hollow and loctite wouldn't cure). After two or three frustrating experiences I have replaced the the spring pin with a screw and a nut. This seem to fix the problem. After a few months the holes at the rear section of the rail (where the cover pin is inserted) have been enlarged - the aluminum got chewed up by the steel dust cover pin which had an impact to accuracy. Next, the kwickpin spring ball lost its spring and the ball... Finally, my solution of the front pin issue caused the rail to gave up its host (the steel screw chewed up the aluminum hole causing the front portion of the rail to broke off at the tip so its not usable anymore). So..... I ended up installing a scout mount made by Scout Industries... I put a red dot on it and so far so good...
