How many people have a 870 marine magnum

what do you use it for and why did you buy it.
1. Because its a pimping shotty! nickle rocks!
2. Nickle and Stainless last longer better in bad weather.
3. My tac./ camp gun i take it everywhere.

I haven't bought one yet but I've definately given this gun some serious consideration. Maybe I'll end up picking one up while in Montreal. It would be for your reason #1

I've had mine for 4 years, for all of the above reasons in addition to the rugged flawless function of an 870. I use it in 3 Gun Matches. It's electroless nickel plate is superior to electrolytic nickel plate for adhesion strength, corrosion resistance, and hardness/abrasion resistance. Electroless nickel, zee cats ass for guns.

Good stuff ive has mine since 1996 ive put about 12 to 13,000rds in it and its as good as new.
Has to be the best built 870 of all the models remington offers.

I think Mossberg has the Marine Mariner.

I am actually getting a exspress from Doug with wingmaster furniture on it and I will be putting on another 14 inch barell.

you need a single point sling mount on that.... and cut the front sling swivel stud off.

beeson is making some stainless nickel single point sling mounts for the marine magnum in the next few weeks... would look spiffy on your gun.
