Dont cheap out on the sites go wilson combat they are really good, most of us have them.B said:I got one, for reasons 1,2 and 3. Looking to put a specops stock and some ghost rings on it. Thats tactical enough for me.
seth said:I've always loved the look of these, but the Marine Magnum has an 18 inch barrel with a fixed cylinder choke. Can't fire slugs accurately because the barrel is a smoothbore, and can't fire birdshot because of the lack of choke and longer barrel. So what use would you have of this at the range?
Besides home defense - which (God willing) will never happen, what do you want one for?

My Mariner Maggi sees duty at my range's Three Gun Match...........the shotgun phase consists of steel silhouettes of varying size and location on the mobile shooting course that must be knocked over as fast as you dare, usually with manditory reloads, and frequently interdispersed with hand gun deployment (usually my Para 13-45) on steel or paper silhouettes also. Not to leave out the rifle phase (this is where I utilize my M14/M305) which can also be combined with shot gun and/or hangun usage...............about as much tactical fun as a civillian can have on a controlled firing range. Normally I will shoot 2 3/4 inchers with No.2 shot in these matches, seems to do a good all around job for pattern density and retained knockdown momentum on the large steel silhouettes.Originally Posted by seth
