How many people would be interested...

#### we could do it up the Chilliwack valley, we already shoot up there as it is. Zeddy, Piperdown, 757 Fixer, 999 and I are planning an incursion into the backwoods this summer. we could probably scout a spot suitable for it then.

I thought you were going to BBQ and we would shoot from your deck?

Since I'm looking at getting into the game and potentially interested in this type of competition down the road, I'd be willing to travel out to wherever it's decided to be held and help out where needed.

It would be a good opportunity to gain some experience and pick up some extra tips/tricks and knowledge. Either way, I'm definately interested in being around for something like this.

Sounds cool

Why do you think God invented 4x4's with windows that roll down.
In TO they call it drive by ,I call it conservation of energies.

I'm down, but really how challenging can you make the field craft portion. If this is a real entry level discussion then that aspect needs to be seriously addressed ahead of time.

Many years ago a friend suggested the ultimate biathlon race would be ski to a check station and get your bolt, then ski to another and get your ammo, then ski to a third and get your target locations, etc. Sort of orienteering with a purpose.

The march and shoot match has merit, but you have to stand back and look at the public image. Are you running 'a mercenary training camp' or 'a sharpshooter school'? I recall some questioning publicity when photos of one of the Maryland "sniper" suspects were found wearing a BCRA Sniper Match t-shirt. Also people worry when they see strangers with guns or wearing cammo out of season in their woods. There were some terrorist suspects at a camp north of Toronto who antagonized the neighbours with 'extreme camping' cover stories. Unless the shooting and stalking parts are on controlled property, and the cross country navigation is perfectly innocuous, you are asking for intervention from a higher level of government.
