I reload. I don't shoot as much as I used to because I'm busy. I do outshoot the overwhelming majority of people.
In my experience, an athletic, coordinated person with professional instruction can shoot a thousand rounds a year, dry fire the rest, and smoke 99% of shooters without professional training, who burn ten times the ammo.
Although a) the number of people who shoot 10,000 rounds a year is tiny, and b) internet round counts tend to be wildly inflated, unless the gun is for sale.
So take it for what it's worth.
