It's funny, but some of the best pistol ammo I've loaded was on my turret press. I think it's because when you're using the press, the turret spins around rather than the shellholder, so the powder measure gets shaken up well so it loads up the powder measure cavity well. I had the occasional undercharged case (enough powder to get the bullet out of the barrel, but with enough of a difference to make me think "wtf?" when it goes pop instead of BANG!) with my Pro 1000, but never with my turret press. It usually happens with the Pro 1000 when I'm loading a really small amount of powder in the case, like 4 grains of Clays or something like that. Higher volume powders like Trail Boss or H110 work great.
