Quick poll for fun!

Couple of weeks ago I shot the Miramichi OPRS and when the shoot was done I had 8 rds left in my box of of 50. I wanted to shoot more but the shoot was over and I had a 90 mins drive home.

This weekend I spent Saturday morning on the range trying to break the darn 1/2 inch challenge , came within one target. So I kept shooting until I needed to come home which resulted in 300 rds from my CZ 455 and 100 from 10/22.

I looked through my shooting log and 300 is about my average.

How many rds do you fellows shoot on an average day on the range?

3-500 22 somewhat weather dependant in how long I stay. 300 is minimum as it is a bit of a drive to the range.
7.62x39 100-120 rounds cause it’s cheap ammo and the sucker has to cleaned anyway once fired lol!

I don't shoot much rimfire these days but when I do take along a 22 with me I would pack at an absolute minimum 100 rds. If it was my primary gun of the day I would take along no less than 200-300 rounds.
I primarily shoot centerfire rifle at our local range and I never leave home with less than 100 rounds. I might add that I am only 10 minutes or so from our club so popping home for extra ammo is not really an issue for me.

For semi or tube feed guns several hundred. For my bolt action rifles i shoot maybe 50 to 75.
20 to 50 for my 17mach2 just to stay familiar with the trigger

Years ago i used to shoot around 500 an outing and pack up. These days i go through 50 to 200 depending on what im shooting. I still shoot as long as i used to just not as much ammo. I spend a little more time between shots and chatting with the regulars that show up at the range on Sunday mornings.

Usually for three or four times a week it's 3 - 5 boxes each time -- if there's no testing or new equipment to check out. Occasionally it's more and sometimes it's much less. This morning, for example, I quit before finishing 2 boxes. There was a nice older gentleman there with his missus. He was 83 years old, shooting a rifle with a new scope. Every five shots he had to check out his target. It got to be too much, stopping every five minutes or so. I packed up and wished him a good day and good luck.

Depends on the ammo and the gun...

- My Anschutz I usually only put about 50 rounds of Match/Edge/R50 @ 50 yard targets
-10/22 target probably 300 or more federal automatch or champion usually rapid fired at 100 or more gongs.
-.223 bolt gun 50 reloads @ 100-300 yards
-.223 AR 100 rounds rapid fired off the 100 yard gongs or more to empty the brass for reloads lol
-9mm pistol 100 rounds
-45acp pistol 50 rounds
-.22 pistol 200-300 rounds

Usually 50, but I bring 3 boxes. I shoot rimfire between my centerfire groups to give the barrel a chance to cool. 50x .22 and 20x .300WM is a nice little session before heading over to the trap and archery sections.

~500 22LR, ~300 9mm, ~100 other calibers(380 ACP, 357 max, 45ACP or 460 S&W) for handgun
~300 223 if shooting an AR
It's 75 mins to the range and I'm there for a min 4 hours each time.
