How much is everyone paying for powder?

I was at the Dawson creek gun show this past weekend, and there was only one vendor selling real black powder. It was Goex ffg for $68 per pound before taxes. We really need a Canadian importer that can import Swiss/Schuetzen powder directly from Europe without having to go through the US first.
Is it even possible in Canada?

This is about right, Goex is around $70 per pound nowadays.

apperantly you don't know a deal when you see one the prices will only keep going in one direction and it won't be in reverse
 
I dunno about black powder but reg ol smokeless is often over $100 now.
I found some imr4198 for $70+tax at a local can tire and thought I was seeing things

Proline in Calgary has or at least had Schuetzen powder regularly.
 
Last weekend at the Calgary gun show I bought some IMR powder for $60/lb in an unopened 1 lb can... with a "Guncraft" $14.95 price sticker so it was at least 30 years old! There was some GOEX for $40/lb.
Recently I discovered <ammunitiondepot.ca> in Thunder Bay advertising GOEX for $37/lb. That's the best deal I know of in Canada right now.

Prices of caps and powder have skyrocketed in recent years. Goex 2F was only $28/pound 5 years ago, and a tin of 100 CCI #10 caps was about $8. Crazy, crazy prices today, if and when you can find any in stock. Best to stock up when you can find stuff to avoid inevitable price hikes, at least until your supply runs out.

You were lucky. Most shows won't even allow BP to be sold due to explosive regs
