Mine are about 190, and I find pachmayr presentation grips on revolvers are just about right.
I just checked my own hands and if I'm doing it right I'm at 210mm. So I'm more "ogre wannabe"....
Tbone, that tape is as close as your local bicycle shop that caters to road bikers. Or if you're in a city with an MEC they have it as well. While you're there check out the service shop to see if they have an old mountain bike size inner tube. The neat thing about this bar tape is that because the edges are feathered out you can overlay it with less or more overlap to build up the thickness with really great control and very few lumps. Then when it feels just about right cut and roll up then roll on a tube of the inner tube rubber. Or if that just won't work go with the hockey friction tape or even some of that self bonding camo tape. Otherwise the foam will squish around pretty quickly. On the handlebars it's intended to be slightly stretched into place and that holds it really well. But with short vertical strips such as on the handgun it won't work out that way.
A bit of creative angle cutting along the back strap will feather the tape up and around the hook of the back strap so it doesn't tend to push your hand down.
