If there was no vodka and borscht stains on the stock and the bore doesn't smell like pee, there's a good chance it's unissued!
It does look nice, at least that part! You are the best buddy . did you ever make me laugh . nice stamps around the cross bolts eh . almost makes me salivate.
Yea exactly, followed by a noise similar to a cat getting its tail hit with a 10lb. Mallet!Best way to check, drop the magazine, put your pinky inside the chamber then pull the bolt back a little and let go of it. An unissued will make a crisp *klink* while a refurb will make a hollow thud.
Yes as the lads are saying, unissued and non refurb are two different things, black bayo is dead giveaway refurb, [ ... ] The black bayo copies I have are among the best refurbs I have seen, blueing is better than most originals! And the refurb was done very well!
Different refurb factories finished them differently, doesn't mean much, some folks think the shiny ones are original and goldish color ones are special, I am not sure to be honest!I've got a '53r Tula, but it has a silver bayonet, looks like some sort of fine bead blasted finish. I'm pretty sure mine was either unused or very lightly used since it was refurbished. Not sure what the silver bayonet means though.
