Swail, I define 2 types of kids these days, those that DO and those that DO NOT, my 3 boys have been in the bush since I can remember pushing a stroller down the trail to go fishing, now I look back on it and the worst crime they have ever commited was a fight or 2 in school (usualy over a girl) I look at my cousing 2 sons, same age never steped foot in the bush, have no knowledge of how to bait a fishhook or load a rifle (thank god for that) and they have been in and out of court and police cars since they were 13 years old, I dont totaly blame my cousin, I do blame peer preasure in schools and poor education system that alows teachers to preach anti gun and anti hunting to kids, I also blame there enviroment, if all they see is the streets and what they have to offer then what does 1 expect them to learn in life? GET them kids out and show them theres alot more fun in landing that 10 pound lake trout or baggin that 1st deer rather than walking the streets getting into trouble with the kids who will never get the same opportunities, WE as a whole need to push our kids to keep our lifstyles allive for future generations before we to become a page in history on how it used to be!
Maddog (Joe) had a sig line that said it best: little kids that hunt and fish dont grow up and mug little old ladies!
I beleive that 100%
