I was looking @ some photos from hunting season and I realized there is no place I would rather be than out there. Miles from anythings. Little lake in front of the camp. You can do whatever you want to, drink beer all day long, smoke cigars and shoot the #### with everyone. You get to hear stories from long ago. Im only 20 and I get to hear all the old stories. Our camp was built around 1900 along the river that exits the lake. It eventually fell down and this one was built around the 50's.
Theres alot of history in old places like this and I just cant get enough of it, so I figured I would share some pics.
The camp is powered @ night by a propane powered Onan generator rigged to run on the 100 LB tanks. It powers our lights, TV (so we can watch Hockey Night in Canada), and radio. We go in by ATV. The hole with the guy stuck in the mud is one of the little ones! We hire a farmer where we park our trucks to haul a wagon in, then out again after 2 weeks, with his 4x4 tractor. Usually 15 guys in the camp each week, during hunting season.
Anyone else got a nice place in the middle of nowhere they wanna share some pics of?
