Hi,
went small game hunting yesterday, and my feet hurt like hell from walking from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM...
I was wearing a pair of hi-top gore-tex Salomon shoes, but I find them not very supportive. The other issue is that I have flat feet/pronation problems, and my feet arches are super sore after a day of hunting...

What hunting shoes would you recommend that offer decent support for pronating feet and that will also keep my feet dry in a wet environment?

Thanks!

I have been wearing Keen hiking boots for the past few years, they have worked well for me as i have a wider foot and most of their boots are wider than most around the toes. They aren't a dedicated "hunting" boot for me, i wear them any time i do any hiking in colder weather.

I've had a pair of Danner Pronghorns that I've had for a long, long time. They have a ton of miles on them and I've never had a problem. They wear like sneakers and are quite light on the feet.

Danners. Go online. They offer size and widths to meet every need.
A poor choice in boots rates right up there with making a bad choice on rifles, scopes, bullets, binos, clothing, knives and friends!!!

Timberline thermal pro are my boot of choice right now. A bit on the pricey side, but I have never worn anything that was so instantly comfortable. They are waterproof too.

Irish Setter, Elk Trackers for me. Light weight, good support 12" high, warm but not too warm, good down to -25 or 30C, very waterproof, good traction and they can be re-soled with vibram, very tough and durable.

+1 for the Meindl's, I have the Denalis and Ibex's and I love them. Durable, lightweight and feel lively on your feet. Danners are well made but feel like a brick on your feet,

I like the old-fashioned L.L. Bean pac boot. Rubber bottom, leather uppers. I have a low-top pair for warm weather, and a larger high-top pair for extra socks and cold weather. Comfortable and quiet.

These were always my go to hunting boots, but with more experiance ( umm read that as older) I really like something with more ankle support. Hard to beat the Meindl's

LOWA's. Every Infantry soldier that has ever used them, Would recommend them. I have never heard of anyone ever getting a blister even after a 24hr, 50k patrol in mountains and with wet feet. Downfall is the hefty price of 300 buck-ish. LOWA's.

I too have flat feet / pronation issues. I bought a pair of Zamberlan hiking boots and have not looked back. They are the most comfortable footwear I own, and provide plenty of support. Not cheap, though. Was worried about break-in period but no problems there. They have them at MEC.ca.

I see the boots that some of my hunting buddies wear and cringe. My feet would probably fall off in a pair of Kodiaks or rubber boots!
